Delivery Information

The Wedding Wardrobe offer free delivery on all UK orders over £100.  A delivery charge of £10 will be added to orders under £100. We aim to deliver in stock items within 5-7 business days. You will be given the option of upgrading your delivery to an express service (2-3 business days) at a cost of £15 per parcel. Please note express orders received after 1pm will not be dispatched until the next business day. Orders received over a weekend or bank holiday will not be dispatched until the following business day. Items that are made to order will be dispatched on arrival from the relevant designer. The delivery times shown are estimated and start from the date of dispatch.  We may need to obtain authorisation of payment from your card issuer. Orders will not be dispatched until the payment has been confirmed.If payment authorisation is required this may result in a slight delay in your items being dispatched. If we are unable to obtain confirmation of payment we will attempt to contact you however this may result in your order being cancelled. Delivery times should be used as a guide only. The Wedding Wardrobe are not responsible for any shipping delays due to customs procedures, weather conditions or any other reasonable or unavoidable delay outside the control of the company.

Track Your Order

All purchases require a signature on delivery. Once a signature has been received responsibility for the item passes to the receiver. If no one is available to sign for your purchase the courier will leave contact information for you to get in touch and re-arrange delivery.

Multi Piece Orders

Multiple piece orders will be dispatched once all items arrive in stock, unless we are instructed otherwise. Please note that if you request items are sent at separate times you may incur a shipping charge for each package. I have ordered a Made to Order item. What happens next?

At the Wedding Wardrobe we pride ourselves on selecting beautiful accessories from some of the worlds best designers. Some of these pieces are handmade or made to order and have a standard delivery time.

When viewing a made to order item on our website an approximate delivery time will be quoted on screen. Once the order has been placed you will receive an e-mail confirming the order and receipt of payment. Our team will contact the designer for a more accurate delivery date and forward this information to you. On arrival from the designer we will e-mail you to confirm your order is on it’s way and arrange delivery direct to your door.

Returns

The Wedding Wardrobe aim to deliver quality products our customers adore. However, we realise at times it may be necessary to return an item to us. In the unlikely event that you do need to return an item please use the following returns procedure:

Customers must obtain a return authorisation number within 7 days of receiving their purchase. This is done via contacting the Wedding Wardrobe customer services team via telephone 0191 3882226 or via email enquiries@weddingwardrobe.com .

You will receive an e-mail from the Wedding Wardrobe confirming your return information has been received. In this e-mail will be a printable returns slip. Please ensure this is returned with your item so we can quickly and clearly identify you as the customer.

The returned item must be received by the Wedding Wardrobe within 14 days of receipt. Please note any items received after 14 days can only be accepted at our discretion.

We advise that any returned items are sent by special delivery or by tracked courier service. The Wedding Wardrobe will not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit. The cost of returning items is the responsibility of the customer.

Any items returned must be in the original condition, including any designer product packaging. The items must be unworn with all original tags in place.

Please note for hygiene reasons the following items are non-returnable:

  • Pierced Earrings
  • Briefs and Knickers sold individually or as part of lingerie sets.
  • Stick on bras

When returning items from an overseas destination, please ensure all items are returned with the correct customs paperwork. The item must be clearly labelled as a return. Information on the required paperwork can be obtained from your courier or from the the Wedding Wardrobe customer service team. The Wedding Wardrobe will not accept any responsibility for items lost or damaged during transit.

Please note any refunds given will be for the purchase price only and will not include any delivery costs, customs charges, taxes or additional cost incurred.

If an items is returned to the Wedding Wardrobe due to refusal of the customer to accept the delivery. The Wedding Wardrobe will deduct any costs incurred by the company from any refund made.

Faulty Items

Should you receive a faulty item, we will aim to replace or repair the item within a reasonable time frame, subject to availability.  If we are unable to offer a repair or replacement, your order will be refunded. You will be contacted by the Wedding Wardrobe team to confirm a re-delivery date for your order or if the purchase is to be refunded.  Any refunds authorised by the Wedding Wardrobe will be made via the same method used to purchase the item. Any replacements will be made on a like for like basis, for example, replacements will be in the same colour and size.

Right to Cancel

Orders can be cancelled within 14 days of receiving your purchase. You must notify the Wedding Wardrobe of your intention to cancel the order in writing and within a reasonable time frame. The item must then be returned to us unworn. The Wedding Wardrobe will not accept cancellations if the item has been worn or is not found to be in the original condition. Please note any refunds given will be for the purchase price only and will not include any delivery costs, customs charges, taxes or additional costs incurred.

European Union

the Wedding Wardrobe offer free delivery on orders over £200 dispatched to addresses within the European Union.  A delivery charge of £20 will be added to orders under £200. We aim to deliver your purchase within 7-10 business days.  Items that are made to order will be dispatched on arrival from the relevant designer.

Rest of the World

Delivery charges will vary depending on your location. The cost of delivery will be confirmed at the time of purchase. We aim to delivery international orders within 10-15 business days. Items that are made to order will be dispatched on arrival from the relevant designer.

General Delivery Information

To comply with customs regulations we may need to contact you for extra information, for example, your Tax ID or Residents ID number. This is required for shipping and a delay in receiving this information will result in a delay in your order being dispatched. Delivery times should be used as a guide only. the Wedding Wardrobe are not responsible for any shipping delays due to customs procedures, weather conditions or any other reasonable or unavoidable delay outside the control of the company.

Delivery to China

To comply with customs regulations parcels going to China require the receivers customs registration (CR) number. You will be contacted by the Wedding Wardrobe to provide this prior to shipping. Purchases can not be dispatched if you are unable to supply a 10 digit CR number. If you do not already have a CR number you can obtain one from your local customs office.

Taxes and Charges

All the Wedding Wardrobe orders are shipped from the UK on a Delivery Duty Unpaid basis. Customers are responsible for any applicable import duty, customs and local taxes. The amount will vary depending on location and content. Payment of these will be necessary to release your order from customs. If an order is returned to the Wedding Wardrobe due to non-payment of these charges or refusal to accept the order any costs incurred by the Wedding Wardrobe will be deducted from your refund. Please contact your local customs department for further information.
